J2T Financial Recruiting is Hiring a Bookkeeper/Office Manager Near Denver, CO

J2T seeks a detail-oriented, experienced Construction Bookkeeper/ Office Manager with a background in the construction industry. This direct hire opportunity is 100% remote. The candidate must be able to work M—F from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST. The ideal candidate will reside in Colorado and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in bookkeeping and office management tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain financial records and generate reports.
  • Process credit card payments and reconcile transactions regularly.
  • Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly.
  • Create and maintain checklists to streamline operational workflows.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Manage networking events, including planning, coordination, and attendance as needed.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and manipulate Pivot tables and perform VLOOKUP functions.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the office operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
  • Oversee inventory management and order office supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in bookkeeping and office management roles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
  • Job Cost Accounting ( Must Have)
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience processing credit card payments and reconciling transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional email correspondence.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain checklists to optimize workflows.
  • Previous experience booking travel arrangements for a team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing networking events and other administrative tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
