Job Description:

DIMES Logistics LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner that is owned and operated by a Military Vet who just wanted to give back and help his fellow Americans be able to feed their families. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. We need reliable , independent , flexible , hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! Currently, we are looking to fill full-time driving positions in West Sacramento, CA.

Approximate hours are 10:15 am am to 8:45 pm. Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. From October 17, through January 1, 2022, a Driver Attendance Bonus of $120 per DA who completes at least four routes in a standard Amazon Delivery Week between Weeks 42 – 52. The bonus will be paid as a lump sum but equates to an extra $3 per hour (assuming completion of at least four 10-hour routes within one week Sunday through Saturday)

• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not mandatory

Benefits & Scheduling:

• $18.00 -$21.50/ hour (paid biweekly)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and punctually
• You can expect to work about 4 days per week and up to 10 hours per day.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicle; follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Be 21 years or older
• Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required)
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with. In partnership with one another, Amazon and the DSPs continue to consult with medical and health experts, and take all recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy.

Authorized to work in the United States

• Must pass a 4 -Panel Drug Screening
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report . (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
