Description

Summary: Completes assigned deliveries and pick-up of tires, wheels and parts. Ensures all items that are picked-up have the proper paperwork and that paperwork gets to the person or persons in charge of that account by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner.*
2. Ensures delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with invoices or work orders.*
3. Delivers and picks up merchandise in a timely manner.*
4. Maintains deliveries and ensures pick-ups have proper paperwork.*
5. Ensures customer messages and communications are relayed to management or appropriate salesman.*
6. Performs daily vehicle inspections and ensures all maintenance is done on vehicles in a timely manner.*
7. Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.*
8. Assists in maintaining a neat and clean working environment.*
9. Reports understock occurrences to management immediately.*
10. Provides customer with appropriate paperwork for pick-up and delivery.*
11. Provides high level of customer service.*

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
