Jackson County is Hiring a Front Desk Attendant - Recreation - Cashiers Near Cashiers, NC

Provide assistance to members and visitors of the Cashiers-Glenville Recreation Center.

Greets and assists members and visitors.
Addresses inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Receives money.
Assists patron with program registrations.
Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Light cleaning of equipment.
Monitor facility use.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.Licenses or Certifications: Must possess or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.

Knowledge of County and departmental policies and procedures.
Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
Skill in performing data entry.
Skill in operating a multi-line telephone system.
Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to assist employees.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with management, employees, members of the general public and other groups involved in the activities of the County as they relate to the department.
