The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions, including maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate and timely financial data. Some of what you’ll do as a Sr Accountant:• Prepare general ledger entries• Prepare general ledger account reconciliation• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss statements• Prepare various excise tax returns• Prepare year end (and interim) work papers• Other duties and special projects as needed You’ll be a great fit if you have:• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and or commensurate with experience in accounting is required• Proficiency with Accounting Software and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel• The ability to work within a fast-paced environment• A history of effectively working independently or as a team• A high degree of accuracy, while meeting regular deadlines • Practiced in effectively communicating with all levels of the organization• A history of being a reliable professional with an eye for detail• Strong skills in data analysis, organization, and problem-solving Physical Requirements:The work may be done in a sitting position with no excessive lifting, pulling, or pushing, and limited twisting, bending, and stooping.
