Jacksonville Transportation Authority is Hiring a Website & Marketing Project Coordinator Near Jacksonville, FL

Brief Description of Work:

Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing, this position provides strategic project coordination and executes on project plans internally and externally. This individual will also be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining the JTA’s public facing website. The ideal candidate will be organized, a problem-solver, analytic, can multi-task projects and be able to communicate with other teams and levels throughout the organization. This individual will have a passion for digital communication and organizational processes. The ideal candidate will be able to operate in a self-directed environment at times and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team.

Essential Function(s):

Liaison with senior marketing leadership and agency leadership to drive central initiatives in collaboration with marcom, system development, Human Resources, information technology and automation to extend the impact of the JTA through marketing initiatives.

Assists with optimizing efficiency, streamlining processes, and ensuring effective day-to-day marketing operations between the marketing department and other JTA departments.

Create content, edit and own the content for the JTA public facing website.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that content on the JTA website is current, up to date and relevant.

Ensure that all content on the website is on brand and aligns with JTA standards.

Recognize planned marketing initiatives and work with those responsible to understand all the elements of each campaign and establish KPIs for the campaign with the AVP and Director of Marketing.

Input and manage tasks into a project management system and monitor project status. Update tasks and communicate project details and updates to leadership and project leaders.

Identify and recommend process improvement that will create more efficiencies and streamline our operations

Coordinate with for other departments in pre-planning, planning, execution, and post project analysis.

Develop a well-organized project plan.

Understand each project’s key elements, goals, and drivers of success.

Provide weekly status updates to the marketing team and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field

Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)

Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, 4 years’ experience working full time in a project management or campaign management role.

Advanced experience with CMS systems, specifically Umbraco.

Experience creating, editing and updating content within Umbraco.

Experience with SEO.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to build positive, productive cross-functional relationships.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proactive planner with a sense of urgency, creativity, style, and attention to detail.

Strong project management skills with the mentality to “get things done” - prioritize, balance multiple projects simultaneously, influence without authority.

Excellent communication (and influence) skills - internal and external.

Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Perform under tight deadlines thinking clearly under pressure.

The ability to develop innovative solutions that drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

The Website & Marketing Project Coordinator will work within an office environment where the noise level is generally quiet, and will periodically work in and around JTA systems. This role will be required to work nights, weekends, and he/or holidays depending on certain cercumstances. Physical demands may include:

Sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods.

Performing repetitive motion.
