1. Create authorizations for DoD travelers using the current Travel Management System (TMS) program of record (approximately 750 travelers per year); submit authorizations to government representative for final review and approval.
2. Review travel vouchers in the current TMS for completeness and accuracy (approximately 750 vouchers per year).
3. Use the J5 standard travel briefings to conduct in-processing and out-processing for students.
4. Coordinate/collaborate with other staff sections and courses to facilitate mission accomplishment.
5. Help maintain the J5 files and records in accordance to the ARIMS.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1. Secret Clearance
2. Excellent communication and organizational skills
3. Knowledge of basic information, terminology, forms, or reports that are part of a transportation program or operation to screen for missing information, prepare final copy of documents, maintain files, respond to routine questions, or perform similar duties
4. Knowledge of Federal Government Travel System
