CapabilitiesDefense Infrastructure
- Provide Tier III IT Operations and Maintenance support.
- Specialize in the administration and operations of Linux and Microsoft environments.
- Perform Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as required to ensure continuous performance and ATO.
- Manage system configuration and operation of servers.
- Manage, configure, and maintain client based computer systems.
- Perform system monitoring, scanning, and response activities.
- Perform administration operations and maintenance activities of hardware and software.
- Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot system errors and client system issues.
- Perform and maintain DoD Information System Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance with routine patching for updates released by vendors.
- Manage, update, and maintain configuration management of all configuration changes to systems, patches and anti-virus software updates.
- Perform system analysis for virtual service health status to include resource utilization and performance requirements to ensure optimal performance of systems.
- Perform routine scans and anti-virus software updates on all systems.
- Perform system automation activities utilizing scripting tools/languages.
- Provide System Administration support for IT related meetings and configuration change board reviews.
- Have a deep problem-solving background with accompanying troubleshooting skills.
- Be able to work independently as well as collectively within a team.
- Be able to apply critical thinking techniques.
- Be able to effectively communicate with customers and other team members, both orally and in writing.
- Be able to quickly adapt to new situations and a willingness to learn new technologies.

- Must have 9 years of directly related experience
- Must have 3 years of experience working in a management or leadership role
- Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security CE Certification)
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret (w/ SCI) Security Clearance
- Be proficient in Windows Systems Administration
- Have Windows client and server certifications
- Be proficient in Linux Systems Administration
- Have a RedHat certification
- Have experience with virtualization solutions (VMware, OpenShift, etc.)
- Have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Have experience with DevOps tools (Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Docker, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
- Cisco Networking experience
- Have experience with automation solutions, systems provisioning and management solutions
- Have experience with scripting or software development
- Have experience with Operating System hardening (DISA STIGs, etc.)
