Position: Hotel General Manager
Location: Jaeger California
Reports to: Regional Manager/Owner

Job Overview:

The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's daily operations, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, efficient business operations, and achieving the financial targets set by the ownership or management company. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in hospitality management, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other departments.
    • Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are adhered to.
    • Monitor the quality of services provided to guests and address any issues promptly.
  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the hotel's budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses.
    • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
    • Ensure all financial records and reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Guest Relations:

    • Ensure the highest standards of guest service are maintained.
    • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly.
    • Implement and monitor guest feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery.
  • Human Resources Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Sales and Marketing:

    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
    • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other stakeholders.
    • Oversee the hotel's online presence, including social media and review sites.
  • Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure the hotel complies with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
    • Implement and maintain security measures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a senior management role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.
    • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
