Job Summary:
The Service Lane Greeter at Jaguar Land Rover Columbia is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients visiting the service department. They will serve as the first point of contact for clients, welcoming and directing them to the appropriate service advisor or department. They will also assist with general administrative tasks and ensure a smooth and efficient service process for clients. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, located in Columbia, South Carolina.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Service Lane Greeter position offers an hourly pay rate of $15 to $18 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, employees are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, vacation and sick time, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases and services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all clients visiting the service department in a friendly and professional manner.
- Direct clients to the appropriate service advisor or department based on their service needs.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on their vehicle's service status and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure a smooth and efficient service process for clients.
- Maintain a neat and organized service area, including keeping the lounge and refreshment area well-stocked.
- Uphold the company's customer service standards and ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Knowledge of basic administrative tasks and computer skills.
- Familiarity with the Jaguar Land Rover brand and vehicles is a plus.
