JAKKS Pacific, Inc., a leading designer and marketer of toys and consumer products, with a wide range of products that feature some of the most popular brands and children's toy licenses in the world, currently seeks an experienced, energetic, self-starter for the role of Digital Asset Manager for our headquarters in Santa Monica, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for playing a crucial role in managing and organizing our extensive library of digital assets related to our diverse range of toys and products. They will ensure that these assets are easily accessible, well-maintained, and utilized effectively across various digital platforms and marketing channels.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement strategies for organizing and managing digital assets including product images, videos, animations, and promotional materials.
• Establish and maintain a centralized digital asset management system (DAM) to streamline access and distribution of assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, E-commerce, and Product Development to understand asset needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure all digital assets are properly tagged, categorized, and archived for easy retrieval.
• Manage metadata standards and ensure consistency across all assets.
• Conduct regular audits of the digital asset library to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Work closely with external agencies, photographers, and vendors to coordinate asset creation and delivery schedules.
• Provide training and support to team members on how to effectively use the DAM system and locate assets.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in digital asset management and recommend improvements to workflows and processes.

Skills & Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in digital media, Library Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital asset management, preferably within the consumer goods, retail, or toy industry.
• Strong understanding of digital asset workflows and best practices.
• Proficiency in digital asset management software and tools (e.g. Photoshop, Brandfolder)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Familiarity with copyright and licensing issues related to digital assets is a plus.

• Compensation: JAKKS Pacific offers a competitive salary. Compensation for this role commensurate with experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $70,000-$80,000.
