Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Salary Range: This is fully commission-based position with the potential to earn $60-80K.

Division: AM&S

Location: Western United States region (including Rockies)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM PST

What you will do:

The Associate Regional Sales Manager (ARSM) is responsible overseeing sales to all dealers and end users within given territory for the AM&S Music Creation Division brands. The ARSM will support the sales strategies of the product managers and execute those strategies in the marketplace. The ARSM will report directly to the VP Sales Music Creation Division.

Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • #1 responsibility is the achievement of MCD sales and margin goals reviewed on a monthly basis.
  • Monthly reporting of sales achievement.
  • A minimum of 50-75% Travel is required throughout the territory.
  • Gather competitive data and generate comparative analysis on our existing and new products and contrast to the competition.
  • Provide training curriculum to teach dealers on how sell, demo, configure, and install systems.
  • In-field sales support.
  • Conduct PowerPoint presentations approved by VP Sales Music Creation Division to clients and potential clients.
  • Call on independent dealers, install companies, etc.
  • Mine new dealers and sales channels in the territory
  • Gather information and requests for needed features and enhancements to current product and relay to Brand Manager/ National Sales Managers.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Organize and conduct regional training events in partnership with key accounts, dealers, and National Sales Managers.
  • Travel with National Sales Managers as required for dealer trainings or sales trips.
  • Visit key accounts as required by National Sales Managers.
  • Interface directly with dealers, design engineers, end users and consultants in helping them to design and implement our products and systems.
  • Be responsible for specific projects from the initial quoting and design stage to final end user acceptance.
  • Enforce and promote specific sales promotions.

What we are looking for:

  • Field sales experience of 3 to 5 years preferably in the MI Industry with relevant dealer relationships in the territory.
  • Strong understanding of AM&S range of products and the Pro Audio Industry.
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting to reach sales goals.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge and use of advanced selling skills, including consultative selling and use of relationship selling.
  • Demonstrates executive selling skills, including ability to gain access to key decision-makers.
  • Ability to negotiate and close the sale in a minimum amount of time.
