A fifth-generation family-owned, precision metals manufacturer that supplies into a number of sectors including aerospace, defense, heavy equipment and oil & gas is looking for a Manufacturing Plant Manager to join their team in Hopkinsville, KY. A relocation package is available.
As their Plant Manager, you’ll direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and other production-related activities while ensuring the mill’s number one priority is safety. You’ll also lead the mill’s culture initiative to create a great place to work for attracting and retaining top talent. In addition, you’ll employ lean manufacturing techniques, visual controls, and plant performance measures to meet production goals and strive for continuous improvement.
To succeed in the role of Manufacturing Plant Manager you’ll need to have significant experience of a similar Plant Manager level role with good tenure of 4 years in at least one of your Plant Manager roles. Strong Lead / Six Sigma knowledge is also essential. In addition, any experience of the metal industry would certainly hold you in good stead.
