James Lane Air Conditioning Co., LLC, a Fidelity Company in Wichita Falls, TX, is looking for a Controller to join our growing team!
The Controller is responsible for all aspects of financial management. The position requires daily oversight of accounting functions and financial reporting to support the business objectives of the organization.
An ideal candidate will have 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience, knowledge of local sales and tax filing requirements, and experience with general ledger functions/month-end to year-end closing process.
Primary Duties:

• Manage and support all accounting operations, including billing, AR, AP, GL, POC accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Implement an accounting system of controls to minimize risk. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements (10-day close). Support month-end and year-end close.
• Produce annual budget and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis to management.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile special reports.
• Ensure the company complies with all applicable regulations, policies, and work procedures.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required; a degree in Accounting is preferred.
• 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience is required.
• Knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook; Adobe programs; SAWIN/Great Plains and/or other accounting programs.
• Knowledge of local sales and use tax filing requirements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
