We are hiring a dental assistant for our growing dental practice. You will help with preparing patients, setting up rooms, and helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, taking dental x-rays, and assisting with dental procedures.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care.

**Duties:**

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment

- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)

- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

**Requirements:**

- Experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations

- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures

- Proficiency in infection control protocols

- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques

Office hours are 9-5, four days per week (we work a full five day week followed by a three day week, alternating each week).
