Job Overview:
The Café Attendant is responsible for preparing food and drinks in the café, ensuring cleaning standards are met, and setting inventory for the next day's operations. Great customer service is a top component.
Duties:
- Prepares food and drinks for Jordan Valley staff and facility patrons.
- Maintains the café’s cleanliness and safety.
- Cleans equipment and surrounding area.
- Responsible for sanitation during food preparation.
- Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards.
- Manages the cash flow of the café, including running the register and generating daily usage reports.
- Manages the inventory of food and beverages at both the café and the breakfast program at Benton facility and other JVCHC facilities.
- Tracks and manages coffee club

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One year work experience required in customer service or food service related position
- Must have good money management skills and be able to count back change.
