James River Church is Hiring an IT Support Technician - PT Near Ozark, MO

DescriptionUnder the direction of the Director of IT, this position assists with technical support of IT devices and technology. Support includes specifications, installation and testing of IT systems and peripherals within established guidelines. Employee will also assist in the maintenance and testing of software, associated patches and maintenance updates.
The IT Support Technician will troubleshoot applications and issues with various systems and computers.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties
  • Primarily responsible for installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting issues to insure usability of IT equipment, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Ensure IT devices connect and function seamlessly with all diverse systems including servers, end user devices, and administrative systems.
  • Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with IT equipment and software.
  • Works with Director of IT to maintain asset and licensing list.
  • Maintain hardware supplies and inventory of spare parts and accessories.
  • Other duties as required
RequirementsJob Requirements
  • 1 – 4 years’ experience with IT support
  • Troubleshooting hardware / software issues on various desktop / laptop computers
  • Installing hardware in neat and manageable manor
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
  • Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality through the utilization of professional work standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to deal effectively with all users.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, coworkers, civic organizations, business professionals, and the public.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Exhibit professionalism and always maintain confidentiality.
