Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teen Center Support Staff to join our team. This role is responsible for providing support, care and supervision to teens in an after school setting. This position will also help to foster a positive and inclusive environment. Support Staff Job Description

1. Serve as a monitor of teens in all assigned areas being used by the Teen Center to ensure adequate supervision at all times.

2. Uphold discipline and follow behavior management practices in order maintain order and positive atmosphere in the Teen Center.

3. Follow guidelines as laid out in Teen Center Handbook.

4. Promote positive relationships among youth and with youth within proper relationship boundaries outlined in Teen Handbook.

5. Assist with serving CACFP meals/snacks and record keeping.

6. Provide meaningful opportunities for youth to spend their time after school in a constructive way.

7. Monitor Café and assist with sales as necessary.

8. Perform closing and opening procedures in the Teen Center.

9. Monitor and Coach teen volunteer workers.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
