Jamestown Veterinary Hospital is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our growing practice. We provide quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, birds and exotics in Jamestown, New York and the surrounding communities. The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming which is appreciated by all our devoted clients. Our amazing team is a very close group and includes many long-time employees. We are a muliti doctor clinic that offers a positive work life balance with no late nights, flexible schedule. The technician team is hard-working and skillfully supports our doctors throughout appointments and surgery.

For new grads who join our team, we invest our time to ensure you get the support, time, and guidance for your first job out of vet school. Our approach to bringing new grads aboard includes:

• Structured orientation and tailored mentorship program, including 1-on-1 surgical training and an available mentor at all times.
• Opportunities for Zoom calls and round table discussions with other new and recent graduates.
• New grad peer advisors for networking and support as you navigate your first DVM position.
• Slack group discussions to connect you with experienced vets for case reviews, connection, and advice.

We are close to Ellicottville, NY, home to many restaurants, breweries, local shops, and spas. The area is also home to some of the best ski resorts and year-round camping grounds. Located minutes from Chautauqua Institute, Chautauqua Lake, state parks and many winter resorts, Jamestown is an outdoorsman’s dream come true!
