Job description:

Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a position as Supervisor for Jan Care Private Health Services, Inc., a Fishkill, NY based L.H.C.S.A. (Licensed Home Care Agency). Jan Care Private Health Services Inc. services clients in Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties.

• Per Diem position; On-Call weekends

Required experience:

• Current NYS RN license/BSN with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Home Care Agency.
• MUST understand and have experience with NYS DOH regulations and surveys
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home care or a related healthcare setting
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Current driver's license and reliable car for client home assessments (when needed) and HHA/PCA supervisory visits.
• Some experience in Geriatric care management
• Overseeing Clientele that are assigned for your care
• Creating and maintaining relationships with our Caregivers and Nurses caring for your client
• Assisting Staffing Coordinator with Personality Match between Client and Caregiver
• Proficient with computers (Microsoft & Excel)
• Ability to work on a small team, and willingness to adapt as new situations develop.
• Work alongside and report to company’s DPS
• Supervise day to day clinical operations of the home care agency.
• Implement compliance with all DOH state and federal regulations, and make sure policies and procedures remain current and relevant given the DOH regulations
• Responsible for staff in-service training and development programs.

Job Types: Part-time, Per Diem

Willing to work with your schedule: 2-3 days a week

Schedule: 8-hour shift
