Requirements for this role:

• BS degree in engineering or science or related degree required
• 5 years experience in manufacturing or direct manufacturing support roles
• Demonstrated understanding of chemical processing and technolgies

Job description:

• You will provide process safety expertise in the process hazard review process for both capital projects and existing units, you will ensure safe, environmentally sound, and sustainable design and operation.
• You will develop and implement process safety programs and a culture to improve the safe operation of the Company's chemical processing facilities.
• You will provide management of change (MOC) support and incident investigation support as required, including analysis of incident root cause data, development of effective measures to prevent recurrence, and communication of key lessons learned.
• You will lead design reviews for new, existing, and changing processes to ensure safe design and on-going operation of Company facilities via PHAs, MOCs, etc.
• You will interface with external stakeholders such as regulatory agencies, trade associations and non-governmental agencies to promote the Company's philosophies and leverage benchmarking opportunities.
• You will fulfill the role of PSM/RMP Coordinator for the Site including primary support for facility siting related topics.
• You will provide expert consultation on process safety issues.
