Janus Research Group is Hiring a Lead Information Security Analyst Near Patuxent River, MD

JANUS Research Group is looking for an Information Security Analyst in support of the NAWCAD WOLF IC2&IS division to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning and Knowledge Management related technologies and systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead for the team responsible for IA posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
- Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer network/systems and information.
- Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
- Provide analysis, integration, testing, and maintenance of network/systems. Lead the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards.
- BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
- Of the seven years of required experience, at least five years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity support of DoD Component Enterprise- wide IT systems. Additionally, at least five years of experience must include practical computer security experience in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms. These aforementioned years of required experience may be conducted concurrently.
- Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) or GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA) or GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD) or Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) required.
