Job Description:

This position is responsible for assisting Japan Airlines (JAL) customers by answering incoming calls and emails to the American Region Call Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handling customers’ inquiries with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, making new reservations, and changing existing reservations from diverse customers using the online reservation system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to inquiries received via telephone and web email from customers and travel agencies.
• In case of emergencies or irregularities, assist in providing service to customers in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Available to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Proficient in MS office products such as Outlook, Word, & Excel
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in airline and or travel agency
• Experience using the Altea Reservation system

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
