Jason Dady Restaurant Group is Hiring a Sales/Business Development Manager Near San Antonio, TX

Sales & Business Development Manager Position Overview:

The Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing sales and marketing strategies, securing event and catering business, planning and logistics for events and managing the execution events and catering. This role requires a proven leader with a focus on service-driven details, the ability to plan and execute events, and the skill to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in both inside and outside sales and have a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to clients. Initial roles may vary depending on needs of the start up and building of the business, so responsibilities will vary in the development phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Develop strategies to target and secure business for key city events including, but not limited to The Final Four, Fiesta, Various River Parade and Event Participation and Key City Conventions.

§ Secure Relationships with downtown hotels sales, concierge and management teams to create new business opportunities.

§ Meet and greet potential and existing clients, conduct property tours, and promote restaurant facilities and services. Conduct site inspections with potential clients and work closely with event planners to understand group requirements.

§ Ideate, plan and develop seasonal marketing, music and art programs. Maintain detailed event scheduling and organization, proactively planning for upcoming contracted events. Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams for promotional events and campaigns.

§ Develop and implement sales systems and strategies to attract new clients for private dining, offsite events, and restaurant buyouts.

§ Ensure event and catering growth, profitability, and quality goals are met.

§ Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, operations, kitchen, accounting, and service staff, to ensure smooth event execution.

§ Plan and execute catering contracts, including event logistics, set up, break down, and client follow-up. Supervise and coordinate event set-ups, service, and breakdowns, maintaining the highest level of care for clientele.

§ Assist with menu planning, preparation, pricing, and printing for events.

§ Ensure proper storage and organization of all catering and event supplies and inventory.

§ Monitor and audit client checks for accuracy, ensuring proper billing and payment.

§ Participate in public relations events and other marketing activities as needed to promote the restaurant's catering services.

Qualifications:

§ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

§ A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, events, catering, or a related role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.

§ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth through event and catering sales.

§ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.

§ Technology skills with working knowledge of POS systems, Inventory Systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

§ Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is a plus.

§ Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events and catering operations.
