Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing workflows, processes, and technology across service, accounting, warehouse, and delivery departments at all locations to ensure maximum efficiency and top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the President and General Manager to create and implement growth and profitability initiatives.
  • Communicate and implement initiatives to the management team.
  • Work with management to continuously improve efficiency and processes.
  • Develop standard procedures to ensure high efficiency and customer service.
  • Gather feedback from management and employees on workflows and processes.
  • Monitor and recommend improvements for operational systems and practices.
  • Review, update, and implement employee training programs.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to create budgets, set goals, and review financial statements.
  • Ensure vendor and customer accounts are current.
  • Oversee month-end close for all departments.
  • Maintain professional banking relationships.
  • Enforce workplace policies and ensure legal compliance.
  • Prepare and process required state and federal reports.
  • Negotiate company insurance policies.
  • Resolve escalated issues and make decisions under pressure.
  • Maintain professional composure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Handle tasks with discretion and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers, especially in difficult situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Communicate expectations and evaluate job results to meet company quality goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
  • Adhere to and train staff on safety regulations.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting software, inventory software, payroll software, and database software

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 6-8 years of operations management experience, preferably in retail

Compensation

· Full-time

· OTE 1st year $110,000 /yr

· Bonus potential

· W-2

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
