Description

Purpose: The marketing intern will work in conjunction with the VP of Business Development to increase web traffic, brand awareness, and lead generation through original content and creative digital marketing strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support marketing campaign planning.
• Oversee JBC’s Social Media Platforms, handling all aspects from planning to execution.
• Write copy for social media posts and other marketing collateral.
• Contribute to the creation of written, video, and visual content.
• Assist with 3rd party directory content management.
• Conduct keyword research and assist in implementing SEO strategies in conjunction with our external marketing partner.
• Work in CMS to post blogs and other content and perform SEO updates as directed by external marketing partner.
• Manage JBC’s Google My Business page.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Working towards a Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Willingness to learn
• Self-starter, resourceful, able to find alternative solutions’
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Experience creating visual and written content
• Understanding of SEO principles
• Experience with CMS (Content Management System)

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical effort required on a constant basis

Work Schedule:

• 20/25 hours per week

Work Environment:

• Work performed in an office environment
