Position: Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician

• Salary: $57,324.00 to $63,939.00

Must-Haves:

1. Participation in proactive maintenance activities such as FMEA's, RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), and Analytical Troubleshooting (ATS).
2. Technical skills to maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment, including a strong understanding of lubrication principles and ensuring proper lubrication is applied.
3. Technical skills to troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.
4. Technical skills to repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.
5. Technical skills to precision install mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment utilizing OEM specifications.

Nice-To-Haves:

1. Experience in an industrial environment or military experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment; experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial, and motor controls.
2. Comfort with mechanical lifts, ladders, kneeling, bending, and twisting; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an off-shift position with rotating shifts that will require overtime, including weekends.

Job Description:

• Position: Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician/Electro Mechanic
• Location: Chatham, NY
• Pay: $27.56-$30.74 per hour
• Shift: Swing shift - alternates one week, 7 am-3 pm, and the next week 3 pm-11 pm
• Sign-On Bonus: $2500 paid in 90-day increments

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain auxiliary equipment as required by production.
• Maintain and repair utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer.
• Assist/train other maintenance personnel with repairs, PM's, and rebuilds.
• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams for proactive problem resolutions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Manage small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
• Perform all duties in support of quality and safety policies.

• Maintain exceptional housekeeping in personal areas.
• Use proper tools for each job, identifying damaged tools and avoiding risks.
• Perform precision welding based on application requirements.
• Use shop tools like lathes, drills, milling machines, etc.
• Read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and precision install mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment.
• Improve reliability of equipment sub-components.
• Develop, modify, read, troubleshoot, and install PLC programs.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair AC and DC drives/motors.
• Fabricate and install various electrical, piping, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
