Early Childhood Professional Development Coach (Consultant)

JBF Solutions, LLC is looking for dynamic, dedicated early childhood consultants to join our team in providing the early childhood professional community with core values of building strong character back into the classroom envrionment. We are putting out a call to action to bring forth a culture shift for educators, leadership, and families to prioritize our young children during their most formative years; teach and lead by example; and to put our children on a solid path to reaching their highest potential.

Under supervision of the Director of Coaching Coordination & company CEO, ECPD Coaching Consultant will be responsible for supporting JBF Solutions in providing a quality classroom coaching experience for various early childhood education organizations. Coaches will implement the most innovative and developmentally appropriate universal best practices, for the purposeful development of behavioral competence and enhanced support of young children’s social & emotional development.

The adult-focused coaching will be implemented with the intent to strengthen educator capacity to support children in learning appropriate behavioral competencies; to strengthen their ability to appropriately manage their emotions at their stage of development; encourage workforce to focus on instilling values into the classroom community to build strong character in students and support their understanding of how to conduct themselves appropriately in a structured learning environment to influence overall successful academic outcomes.

Services by each coach will include 2 day/week, 3 weeks/mon., totaling (6) six days of hybrid on-site/virtual coaching sessions per month beginning October 2024 – March 2025, coaching sessions within the contract period. Coaches will be facilitating the JBF Solutions, LLC proprietary coaching process that will include up to (2) two full coaching cycles and will be individualized to the workforce identified by authorized Prince George’s County Public School leadership personnel in collaboration with the needs assessed provided by the JBF Solutions/ECPD Coaching Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Support identified educators on-site at minimum 3 (three) days per month by conducting in-person classroom observations, modeling developmentally appropriate best practices for early childhood classroom, in the moment

Minimum 3 (three) days per month of virtual meetings to provide observation feedback, and implementation recommendations. Required documentation of onsite/virtual visits and time fulfilled will be submitted monthly.

- Model developmentally appropriate best practices for early childhood classroom Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, client, and investor meetings

- Respectfully provide in the moment & virtual meeting recommendations

- Be responsive to correspondents with colleagues and clients

- Competently complete required follow up documentation and communications to provide coaching summaries and recommendations

· Moderate proficiency in using Microsoft word, virtual meeting platforms

· Ability to communicate exceptionally and professionally with colleagues & clients

· Exceptional ability to communicate in writing & verbally with respect, clarity, and empathy

· Flexibility & exceptional ability in scheduling, pacing of follow-up, and all other communications internally as well as with coaching participants

-Proficiency in completing and submitting all required paperwork on-time with efficiency & independence

· Ability to manage multiple tasks & clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized and skilled at prioritization
  • Able to work with a diverse range of people

· Ability to be decisive, consistent, transparent, and open to feedback

Required qualifications:

· Minimum BA in Early Childhood Education & Special Education

· CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) required

· 5 yrs. experience working in a special education early childhood environment required (Public School & Head Start preferred)

· Travel Required: 50%

· Hybrid In-person & remote work

· Contractual

· Part-time (6 days/month)

· Day shift/Monday -Friday

· Flexibility with scheduling as needed by clients

· $100/hr. (3- 6 hrs. per day)

· Work time reporting required
