**Sales Manager Pork**

**General Summary**

Due to expansion of market access for imported pork in the North American market, JBS Imports is seeking an experience Sales Manager to manage all aspects for the expanded category for imported pork meat from JBS global intercompany sources and third party suppliers.

**Responsibilities**

* Proactively seek sales opportunities for growing business and building relationships across the supply chain

* Direct trading strategy and provide direction to sales team with market information and analysis to achieve team goals

* Monitor and set market pricing for both buy and sell functions

* Development of suitable marketing strategies to support sales goals

* Investigate all opportunities to grow sales including value adding using internal resources and third party service suppliers

* Position and inventory management

* Direct logistics and administration staff to ensure customer expectations are met whilst maximizing efficiency for the business unit

* Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

* Strong work ethic go to attitude and ability to work within a small team

* Ability to analyze markets via data and intuition

* Ability to work under pressure and independently create opportunities without direct supervision

* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

* Strong negotiation skills

* Ability to connect with multiple entities within the industry: suppliers, customers, traders / competitors

* Some travel domestic and international required

**Experience and Qualifications**

* 5 years experience in purchasing and sales

* Strong knowledge and experience in pork; products, markets

* Livestock and meat industry knowledge and experience gained in a foreign market Australia, New Zealand, South America, Europe

* Knowledge and exporting / importing / logistics

* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Agriculture and or Marketing or suitable experience

* Technical meat knowledge preferred

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following **compensation and benefits**:

* **Benefits** : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

* **Paid Time Off** : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

* **401(k):** company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

* **Base salary** range of $117,000 to $161,000; and

* **Incentive Pay:** This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidates relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
