Currently, we’re in search of a project engineer to join our team. Ideally someone with experience in Tray Sealing Solutions and/ or Food Packaging.

The Opportunity ...

• Conduct Solution Reviews of ProFound documents via Salesforce
• Create machine and project specifications as per customer requirements
• Create full line concepts with Proseal equipment and OEM solutions
• Create project plans and manage their delivery and implementation
• Create 3 view 2D line layout drawings for internal and external review
• Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at Proseal UK and Proseal America
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner
• Cooperate and communicate with other project participants, collaborating with other departments to create more efficient project methods to maximize a project's profitability
• May need to delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of a project
• Ensure all project processes and documentation is filed, and that protocols are followed
• Attend planning meetings and address any issues to ensure on time project delivery
• Assist in production and seal trials
• Work with the sales team when required to complete projects 
• Work with OEM suppliers on solutions and quotes
• Other duties as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering or Project Management
• The ability to explain and sell design ideas and solutions
• Able to create specifications and source equipment from JBT's other business units and OEM’s to create full line solutions
• Clear understanding of the 5 phases of project management
• Able to manage multiple projects both technically and commercially
• Project engineering/management experience
• Must be able to communicate at every level and be efficient in problem solving
• Must have a basic knowledge of Autocad or other drawing applications
• Experience of Solidworks is preferred, but not required
• Must be knowledgeable on all Microsoft Office suite products
• Must be able to use Microsoft Project or another Gantt chart software
• Must be able to work on their own initiative
• Strong time management and analytical skills
• 20% Travel required (80% planned, 20% unplanned)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, and occasional walking. Largely computer based and must be able to focus on potentially loud environments.
• Physical demands may include ability to bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, reach above shoulders, walk, and lift to 30 pounds throughout workday

Work Environment

• On site computer workstation in an open office with a mixture of remote work. Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment may be required at times.
