JCC Association is Hiring a 2025 JCC Maccabi Games Program Coordinator Near Tucson, AZ
Principal Responsibilities: Overview The JCC Maccabi Games Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the logistics, operations, and administration of the 2025 Tucson JCC Maccabi Games. This includes, but is not limited to, all aspects including planning, event coordination, and day-to-day operations during the week of the Games (July 2025). The Program Coordinator will report to and work closely with the Assistant Games Director and will work closely with the Games Director and volunteer committees. Position Responsibilities: Will assist in a variety of programmatic and administrative planning and tasks to support the work of the overall Tucson 2025 JCC Maccabi team Will assist in the setup and structure of Maccabi Central and the Games office space Will staff and oversee the Administration Committee Will assist in implementation of and provide administrative support to all committees and committee chairs, including: o Local Delegation o Athletics o Operations o Security o Volunteers o Housing o Transportation o Jewish Programming o Events o Food and Hospitality o Access o Post Games Will assist in the coordination of all Games marketing and promotion efforts, including the decoration of Maccabi Central and the J building Will work with JCC Association on the national registration system including helping people through the registration process, setting up registration events, taking registrations over the phone, and data entry Will create, produce, assemble, collate, and store credentials for all athletes, delegation heads, coaches, visitors, and VIPs and will be responsible for credential distribution Will assist in organizing and will attend volunteer and host family orientations Will staff and oversee Maccabi Central during the week of the Games Will work collaboratively with other JCC departments Will attend all staff meetings and events and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholder, including volunteers and staff Strong organizational and administrative skills Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and community Within the last several months of the program and during the program week, must be able to devote a considerable amount of time above and beyond the normal 40-hour work week Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 Agency Information: The Tucson Jewish Community Center is a 110,000-square-feet facility built in 1989.
