Position Overview

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of operations and conversion activities. This role is crucial in meeting shipping goals, maintaining quality standards, and managing the facility. Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the operations strategy to meet company objectives.
• Achieve quarterly revenue and On-Time-Delivery (OTD) goals.
• Minimize lead times and workflow errors for optimal efficiency.
• Design, develop, and implement systems to support product shipping and company growth.
• Instill a quality-driven approach in all operations activities.
• Ensure effective product transfer from development to production.
• Communicate team performance and company goals clearly and effectively.
• Maintain the Operations dashboard and lead daily operations meetings.
• Complete projects in alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
• Implement cost reduction and efficiency programs.
• Assist Engineering in specifying new products and vendors.
• Conduct employee training and maintain Core Boards.
• Generate and administer performance reviews.
• Approve purchase requisitions, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions.
• Manage vacation requests and employee timesheets.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will oversee the Operations team, setting priorities, objectives, and schedules to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strategic and tactical acumen in operations management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical/engineering competence.
• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) with a minimum of five years of supervisory/managerial experience in electromechanical manufacturing.
• Experience in a job shop environment and quality management is a plus.
