JCW's is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Sacramento, CA

JCW is working with a midsized national law firm to hire a senior employment litigation paralegal. This person should be an expert in federal and state labor and employment laws, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, labor codes, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently managing cases and monitoring upcoming deadlines
  • Drafting subpoenas, preparing for depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, drafting witness declarations, etc.
  • Redacting documents as needed
  • Assisting with trial preparation, including preparing subpoenas, organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, drafting pleadings.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, including trial prep experience.
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program or an affidavit regarding work experience sufficient to comply with California Business and Professions Code Sections 6450-6456
