About the Job:

JCW is working in partnership with an International Investment Management firm. Our client is seeking talented candidates to fill an SEC Reporting Manager role in their New York City office due to their recent growth in the United States. This is a unique opportunity for a newly created team that provides excellent exposure to senior leadership within a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, legal, and finance teams, to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Stay abreast of changes in SEC regulations and accounting standards, providing guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in accordance with GAAP and SEC guidelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of reporting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any inquiries or requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC reporting within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with a focus on investment management.
• Experience with financial reporting systems and software, such as Workiva or BlackLine, preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
