• Weekly Stipend: $1,162.00
• Weekly Pay Rate: $1,386.00

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Travel Cardiac Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Pikeville, Kentucky. As a Travel Cardiac RN, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiac conditions. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess and reassess patients of all ages, from young adults to the elderly, applying the nursing process to provide specialized cardiac care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing specialized procedures and utilizing equipment related to cardiac monitoring, pre/post CABG care, interventional cardiac procedures, and more.
• Maintain and pull sheaths, administer specialized medications and drips, titrate medications, and manage pain effectively.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients requiring invasive monitoring, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and physiologic functioning support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of cardiac patients.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, responses, and changes accurately and in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Treat patients and families with respect and dignity, addressing their psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs with sensitivity and compassion.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare staff involved in patient care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and efficient workflow.
• Act as a team leader and role model, demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to function effectively under stressful situations.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, educational programs, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance patient care and nursing practice.
