• Call on prospective and existing clients to generate residential interim construction loans, deposits, and referrals to other areas of the Bank.
• Analyze financial statements, underwrite credit, prepare credit memos and assist in the preparation of loan presentations.
• For larger relationships, work closely with credit department to support in gathering information needed and fulfilling the needs of the credit department to ultimately receive a completed credit package for presentation.
• Follow the files from inception to closing/funding; will be responsible for all TRID and regulatory compliance re4views and/or approval by proper lending authority.
• Manage a loan and deposit portfolio, as established.
• Work with our construction draw department to affirm the draws are in line with approved budgets and percentages of work performed through the draw date. Review and approve inspections work closely with the draw department to track receipt of lien waivers, receive, and review all signed draw request to ensure completion and compliance, confirm owner equity.
• Assist in clearing collateral and financial exceptions, as needed
• Process new contractor applications for approval
• Participate in community-oriented and professional organizations.
• Learn and cross-sell bank investment, trust, mortgage, deposit, and loan products.
• Ensure loans are documented and closed properly.
• Assist Senior Lender in managing a loan and deposit portfolio, and commercial loan requests as needed.
• Present loan information to top management and board of directors, as needed.

• Four years of interim construction processing background experience.
• Willing to train and develop strong business development/sales skills.
• Residential interim construction credit analysis and underwriting skills.
• Proficient with PC (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of Bank Core Systems.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in dynamic environment, that demands the ability to manage multiple, and often competing priorities
