Jefferson City Medical Group is Hiring a Medical Assistant- (JCMG Float) Near Jefferson, MO
Full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to float within JCMG clinics. Hours will vary based on the needs of the clinics. Salary Is Based On Experience.Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
Monitor and record patient vital signs.
Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
Provide patient education and support.
Document patient care in electronic medical records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Basic computer skills
Prefer one year in an acute care setting and prefer an additional year in ambulatory care.
