Full-time Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse within our Oncology clinic. Normal working hours are MON-THU 8-5pm FRI 8-12pm. However, hours could vary based on the needs of the department.Salary Is Based On Experience.Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming telephone calls, return calls from voice mail, calling patients with results.
Schedule clinic appointments, diagnostic exams, and procedures.
Assists the physician and/or nurse to provide physical care for the patient before, during, and after examinations and procedures, as needed.
Performs routine clerical activities required for efficient operation of the clinic.
Demonstrate professionalism, proper telephone etiquette and exemplary customer service with each encounter to both internal and external customers.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:
Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
Would consider a Medical Assistant with experience in Oncology setting, but not required
Certification/License:
Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Missouri
BLS certification
