Jefferson Health is Hiring a Health Unit Coordinator, CCU, Jefferson Einstein Hospital, PT Evenings Near Philadelphia, PA

ResponsibilitiesJoin the mission of Improving Lives as a Health Unit Coordinator at Jefferson Health. With more than 42,000 employees, we’re the second largest employer in Philadelphia and the largest health system in the Philadelphia region. And our work to improve lives is never done.
Work Schedule: 48 hours biweekly evening shift (3:00 pm - 11:30pm) with rotation. 8 hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend required. Holidays are 3 out of 6, plus MLK day. Health Unit Coordinators are responsible for the following:
  • Performs general clerical/receptionist duties on assigned unit/patient care area.
  • Assists with other duties as needed/requested by supervisor.
Qualifications for this position include:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills required
  • One year of clerical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Good Organizational skills
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills

Conditions of Employment Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
