As a Nursing Orderly, you will be responsible for the following:

• Cleans and removes trash/dirty linens from patient areas as requested.
• Transports patients safely and effectively via bed, stretcher, or wheelchair.
• Obtains meals and nutritional supplements for patients as needed.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Nursing Orderly will assist the nursing staff in order to provide quality patient care. This includes assisting with aspects of direct patient care, as well as performing ancillary tasks that support the nursing staff.
Qualifications
Qualifications for this position include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CPR certification required
• Ability to communicate effectively with others

Conditions of Employment
