Responsibilities:

• Provide Psychotherapy and Assessment services to adults and/or children and adolescents
• Provide both in person and telehealth modalities of treatment
• Provide Supervision to Psychology trainees as well as Psychiatric Residents
• Collaborate with other health professionals in the care of patients within the Behavioral Health Department as well as the larger network.
• Participate in staff meetings
• Adhere to all department and hospital policies and procedures, including all documentation requirements.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience:
Doctoral level training in Psychology. Three to five years experience in Health Care related field.

Licenses/Certifications:

Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania
3-5 years experience is required, and license in PA is required.

Physical Demand Analysis:
Physical Requirements - Travel to referral sources and mandatory meetings.
Visual Requirements - Ability to read and record in medical charts. Writing skills are necessary in order to meet correspondence and record-keeping demands.
Hearing Requirements - Ability to hear patients.
Working Conditions - In a climate controlled area with occasional exposure to heat of cold during visits outside the facility. There is a potential exposure to infectious diseases.

Jefferson/Einstein is a Federally Qualified Health Center in which providers can potentially attain loan forgiveness.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
