Jeffrey A. Miller Catering (JAM Catering) is a premier catering company specializing in weddings and events in the Philadelphia area and Delaware Valley. We organize about 800 weddings a year and pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and quality craftsmanship.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable part-time Groundskeeper to join our Facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our outdoor spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
-
Mowing and trimming all grassy areas
-
Weeding flower beds and applying mulch
-
Leaf blowing parking and walking areas
-
Watering mulched beds
-
Weekly cleaning and maintenance of inside and outside areas
-
Power washing
-
Running errands to Home Depot (mileage re-imbursed for company-related tasks)
-
Various groundskeeping tasks as needed
-
Additional responsibilities based on company needs
Requirements:
-
Experience in maintenance and handy work is a plus
-
Knowledge of how to use, repair, and maintain gas-powered mowers and trimmers
-
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds
-
Knowledge of plants, trees, and weeds
-
Basic maintenance and cleaning skills are a plus
Compensation:
-
$18/hr plus mileage reimbursement if using a personal vehicle.
-
Part-time position, 20-30 hours per week, may be higher in busy seasons.
