Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking an experienced, Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established primary care practice at Winterport Community Health Center in Winterport, Maine. The Practice is part of one of Maine's largest Federally Qualified Health Centers, and plays a vital role in ensuring access to truly integrated primary health care services for all in the region. The position is planned for full-time 40 hour week, with 32 patient contact hours. Primarily practice-based in Winterport, with limited remote work (non-clinical) possible.

Winterport, Maine: Winterport is a small town located in Waldo County, Maine. Incorporated March 12, 1860 and once home to far-ranging sea captains, Winterport retains a 19th century charm that blends well with 20th century conveniences. In 1766 explorers started settlements at the villages of Winterport and Marsh Stream in the Town of Frankfort. On March 12, 1860 the Town of Winterport was incorporated and had a population of 2380.
