We are a boutique, general dental office in Berkeley in a modern, high tech setting. We are patient focused, striving to provide an excellent dental care with gentleness and humor. We are seeking a highly dependable, detail oriented, well-organized individual who can multi task and work independently as a dental assistant/floater. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be a team player, be friendly, responsible and punctual, and must exhibit a high level of professionalism and strong work ethics. Computer skills, proficient with email, and familiar with Eaglesoft or similar dental software program is a plus. Excellent written and communication skills are required.
Your duties include assisting in back office and supporting the front office as a minor role. Front office duties include checking patients in, setting up appointments, and collecting payments. Back office duties include setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, sterilization, taking digital X-rays and dental impressions/digital scans, assisting dentist and hygienist. Other duties may be required.
X-ray license, dental assistant certification/RDA license and experience is preferred.
The position is FT: M-Th 7:30am-6:30pm
Salary will depend on your experience. Benefits available.
