Work is at Alliance located in Henderson, KY

Must have valid KY Underground Card and 5000-23 form. We will possibly provide 16 hour refresher training if needed.

Pay starts at $22 for Inexperienced and $24 for Experience Miners.

Openings on all shifts!

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR UNDERGROUND COAL MINER

Distinct aptitudes to perform job duties with care, commitment, passion, and pride;

· Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work 40 swing shift schedule as needed that may include working at different mine locations;

· Ability to utilize different task training and to work on weekends as required;

· Team member mentality with ability to follow all safety regulations that includes wearing required Personal Protective Equipment;

· Lift and carry capability up to 50 lbs;

· Bend and twist carry capability of 40 lbs;

· Equipment/material carry capability including up/down stairs;

· Multiple-limb coordination, near/far vision, manual dexterity, climbing capability, long-distance walking capability.
