Field Inspector - Entry Level or Experienced - (Thermographer)

Jersey Infrared Consultants, in business since 1984, are growing and looking to hire motivated, self-reliant people to join our field team as infrared inspectors.

This is NOT a boring job!!! We perform infrared inspections throughout the tri-state area, as well as nationwide. Inspections are performed at a variety of places: high-rise offices, schools, colleges, manufacturing, hospitals and health-care facilities, and many notable locations. If you see it in the city skyline, there is a good chance you will have the opportunity to work there.

Roles and responsibilities include inspections of:

• electrical systems
• flat roofs
• building envelopes (interior and exterior)
• steam systems
• mechanical systems
• specialty projects

Entry-level candidates will be provided all training, including infrared technology, to enable the candidate to progress from an entry-level position to eventually qualify as a Master Thermographer.

Candidate qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license in good standing
• No color-blindness
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to climb ladders
• Good people and communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime hours, or occasional overnight travel
• Flexibility to work schedules and locations required by clients
• Ability to pass background screening and obtain clearances
• Basic computer skills
• Able to pass drug tests (scheduled and random)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $46,000.00 per year
