Jersey Joint, Spine, & Regen is Hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer Near New York, NY

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team as a Physician Extender. The ideal candidate will work closely with our physicians to provide direct patient care, assist in developing and implementing treatment plans, and support the overall clinical operations of the practice. This role is pivotal in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care and support throughout their treatment journey. Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians in evaluating and treating patients with chronic pain conditions. Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and functional tests. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Provide patient education on pain management techniques, exercise, and lifestyle modifications. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities as prescribed by the physician. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Assist with procedures such as injections and other minimally invasive interventions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans. Stay current with advances in pain management techniques and athletic training practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program. Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer. Previous experience in a clinical or pain management setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
