THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVELING FOR TRAINING. The South Hill store should open in September. Training between now and then will be at: 997 S. Beckford Dr, Henderson, NC. Please do not apply at this time if you cannot commute.

We are currently looking for Management trainees (JMMIT’s), and shift leaders. It is important to know a few things before submitting for an opportunity with us. To be considered for the position you must:

• be over 18 years old.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of restaurant or customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Preference given to someone with Jersey Mike’s experience.

The ideal candidate is very comfortable in front of people, possesses an attitude with a playful sense of humor, and the ability to work in the ultimate team environment. He/she must demonstrate strong leadership qualities as well as the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors.
• Be knowledgeable about our history and enthusiastic about “Mike’s Way”.
• Prepare and serve food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards.
• Potentially open or close the store, prep, cleanup, and adhere to guidelines at all times.
• Work with efficiency in a fast paced environment.
• Train new staff.
• Complete ongoing paid training.
• Handle catering orders and maintain contact with regular customers.
• Assist in grassroots marketing.
• Truck ordering.
• Inventory.

Requirements:

• No smoking in uniform, on the clock, or on the premises.
• Our uniform must be worn 100% in line with our standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
