For more information, please visit WWW.METROSERVICESGROUPS.COM Capital Improvements Divisional Manager (CIG) Capital Improvements Divisional Manager (CIG) with Metro is responsible for managing the Scheduling, Estimating, Overseeing and working alongside crews of 3 to 8 Capital Improvements Technicians for various multi-family communities and commercial customers. Essential Functions:
Scheduling and maintaining jobs, job cost, estimates, and production.
Oversee and work alongside crews of 3 to 8 techs daily.
Prioritize and manage workloads and oversee job completion.
Weekly meetings with Director of Production
Assist in all aspects of projects.
Performs capital improvement projects to include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, machine repair, painting and janitorial related to major renovations and rehabs – Advanced.
Possess reliable transportation and able to drive to company owned locations as needed; able to drive to pick up supplies or others to complete business need.
Follow safe work practices.
Address questions or concerns with the clients if approached. Communicate customer’s questions immediately with the supervisor.
Communicate and work in conjunction with Supervisor by completing and submitting job site reports on property and equipment.
Requirements:
High School diploma or the equivalent, required.
Knowledge of building trades – Advanced.
Ability to work independently and adhere to set deadlines – Advanced.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, instructions, and specifications – Advanced.
Proven operation of equipment and tools needed for the role; Must have own hand and power tools.
Physical Demands Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, carrying. Lifting may include up to 50 pounds. Walking is approximately 70% of this job. Must be able to climb on ladders, work on roofs and other high places. Must be able to operate heavy machinery, power tools and legally operate motor vehicles.
