Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Guest Services/Cage Cashier Supervisor”for the All-NewJ Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides ongoing supervision and training to Guest Services employees
• Perform all Guest Services Representatives/Players Club duties and assist where needed
• Accurately completes transactions for guests, including but not limited to cashing checks, redeeming chips or slot machine tickets
• Promote, enroll, and educate guests on the Players Club, promotions, and benefits
• Participate in coaching, counseling, and annual appraisal process for the Guest Services Representatives
• Perform pre-shift meetings or daily awareness sheets to keep Guest Services employees informed of any changes to procedures and promotions
• Make necessary changes to the published work schedules in conjunction with the Guest Services Manager to meet operational demands
• Maintain and restock inventory levels for supplies in Guest Services
• Reconciliation, recording, and maintaining accurate vault inventory when in the vault and assist vault cashier when necessary to find variances
• Participate in maintaining and tracking variances
• Monitors the compliance of Title 31 and Responsible Gaming

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• 21 years of age
• Must be fluent in English and have strong communication skills
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• High school diploma, GED, or general education degree (GED)
• Previous cash handling and prior casino experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License/registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
